This study didn't record a bone-pressed measurement, so it reads roughly a centimetre lower than a bone-pressed study of the same men would. Compare this row against a bone-pressed one and part of what you're seeing is the ruler.

With 115 men measured, this is one of the smaller samples in the game and the figure should be read as noisier than the rows resting on thousands.
